The Liappis Winery is located at the southernmost tip of Thessaly, at the foothills of Mount Narthakio, 380m above sea level, in the area of ancient Phthia. Based on organic and dry farming practices, wines are produced with very low yields per hectare and a limited number of bottles, showcasing the region’s microclimate. All wines are certified organic since 2003 and have won awards in international competitions of global prestige. The altitude and poor soils contribute to the proper phenolic ripening, drainage, and concentration of the grapes.
