
Vineyard: Grossi Laüe on the Pflostig Hillside. In the heart of Schoenenbourg where the cultivation of Riesling belongs almost decentrally. Pyrite, clay, dolomite and gypsum create soils rich in natural fertilizers.
Since 2012 chemical additives have been completely banned in the vineyards, allowing a more genuine expression of its terroir.
Vinification: Classic white vinification at controlled temperatures of 18-24°C.
Tasting notes: Bright pale yellow-green colour with wistful highlights. Intense fruity and floral character against a background of minerality. Dry on the palate, with explosive acidity and aromas of peanut, almond and white peach. The aftertaste lasts for a long time.
Pairs with: Lobster, turbot, perch, poultry and white meats, dishes with fragrant mushrooms.
Enjoy at: at 10° C. It is recommended to decant 15 minutes prior to serving.
Ageing: 12-15 years from harvest.
