Vineyard: Limestone clay and silt soil. Sandy gravel. 100% Syrah grape variety.

Winemaking: Temperature controlled alcoholic fermentation. 4 weeks maceration in vats. Aging for 36 months in oak barrels of which 50% are new.

Tasting Notes: Deep ruby red with violet tinges. Spices, red berries and delicate oak aromas. A powerful and tannic wine. Aromas of blackcurrant buds, vanilla, licorice and spicy finish. Overall a racy and seductive wine.

Paired with: Small game, red meat and cheeses.

Served at: 16°C to 18°C.

Ageing potential: 10 years.
