Vineyard: From the selected ‘‘Aetos’’ (Eagle) vineyard, on the foothills of mountain Telethrio. Total area of 5000 square meters. Sandy soil with many pebbles and soil gradient 18%. The vineyard lies at 400 meters altitude.
Vinification: Skin contact maceration for 12 hours in 5°C. Then, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. Wine stays on its lees for 6 months, while batonnage is applied. Battonage essentially helps redistribute all these positive lees compounds into the wine.
Tasting Notes: Bright, white and yellow colour with greenish highlights. Intense, vivid aromas of exotic fruits, like pineapple and lychee pay in a mineral background composing its exuberant personality. It unfolds elegantly in the mouth, with a sharp acidity that provides vitality. It finishes with an extended aftertaste.
Served at: 10-12°C (60,8-64,4°F).
Ageing potential: Enjoy it within the first 3-4 years.
