Vineyard: Ried (single vineyard, cru) Heiligenstein is interspersed with Riesling terraces and is a landmark of Langenlois. The „Zöbinger Perm” is a unique geological structure based on sandstone, silt and arkose and organic sediments. Some parts of the Riesling terraces contain the oldest vineyards of the estate.
Tasting Notes: : Almost exotic fruit flair, practically leaps from the glass with pineapple and Williams pear, incredibly penetrating and fine-pored, spirited, indeed peppery; multilayered extracted sweetness, smooth texture and elegantly drawn, long very racy finish, an exemplary Riesling from the Kamptal with a long life to look forward to!
Paired With: White meat dishes, fatty grilled large fish, pasta with white sauces
Enjoy at: 10 – 12 °C.
