Vineyard: Located in Elis in the western part of the Peloponnese peninsula.
Vinification: Classic red wine vinification. The maturation takes place in french oak barrels, where the wine ages for 12 months.
Tasting Notes: Intense ruby colour. Red fruits aromas of Agiorgitiko blend smoothly with black fruit flavours and spicy hints of Syrah, while french oak barrels add the finishing touches in the aromatic bouquet with notes of vanilla and cedar. Full-bodied with intense tannins, followed by long aftertaste.
Paired with: Coq au vin, hotpots and matured cheeses.
Served at: 18°C – 20°C
Aging potential: 6-8 years from the harvest.
