Established in 1972 by second master blender Keizo Saji, Suntori's Chita Distillery is situated on the misty calm shores of the Chita Peninsula. Through a rare continuous distillation process using two, three or four columns, the Chita Distillery uses mainly corn to create three types of grain whisky - clean, medium and heavy. Here, its artisans pursue their founder's legacy of "Tsukuriwake"- the diversity in the making. Diverse fermentation, distillation and maturation techniques create the blending opportunities that are essential to achieving the signature subtle, refined and complex taste that is Chita Single Grain Japanese Whisky.
