Product description
In the year 1954 Miguel Torres was already seeking out the most prized red grapes of the region, Garnacha and Cariñena, to create a different wine that would express the authentic character of the land. This led to the birth of "Sangre de Toro", whose name is inspired by Baccus, Roman god of wine, known in ancient times as "Son of the Bull".
Tempranillo: A traditional grape with an intense black colour and a hard skin. It is used to make wines of excellent ageing, moderate fruit acidity and pleasant aromas.
Brilliant ruby red. Seductive fruit aroma (raspberry) against a backdrop of woodland undergrowth and spices (clove). Very velvety with incredibly fine-grained, soft tannins.
Wonderful with meat and a perfect match for creamy cheeses.
Serve at 17-18°C.
