The number 3055 is the cab licence plate number of Jean Leon in New York city, which reveals the man behind the myth. The humble beggining of an idealist, who achieved his dream, by opening the most famous restaurant in Hollywood and producing a wine with his own name on the label.
Vinyard: Planted in the vinyard of Penedes region in 1991. The vinyard became organic in 2008.
Vinification: 60% of the wine is produced in small french oak barrels and then matures for another 6 months with its leet.
Characteristics: Aromas of vanilla, tropical fruit, toast and acacia which end up in the mouth in full fruity characteristics and most of all apricot.
Paired with: Fish dished.
Served at: 6-8C.
