Vineyard: Ried (single vineyard, cru) Steinsetz is situated south of the castle just outside of the village Gobelsburg and is marked by sedimentation material of Danube and Traisen.

Varietal Composition: 100% Grüner Veltliner

Vinification: Classic white vinification. Grapes are pressed immediately after the harvest, a practice extremely important for the maintenance of the aromas and flavours of the variety. 

Tasting Notes: It opens clear,bright and fresh on the nose, where ripe apple aromas intermix with delicate smoky aromas. Medium-bodied,piquant and fresh, this is a pretty intense,elegant and well-structured Grüner Veltliner with nicely bitter flavors on the finish. The wine reveals ripe and juicy fruit that reminds me of yellow-fleshed tropical fruits and melons. The finish is fresh,crisp and really stimulating on the palate

Paired With: Asian dishes, menu based on chicken and soft cheeses.
