Product description
The vineyards of the Bourgogne Côte d'Or appellation seem to form a diagonal line running from northeast to southwest, on a succession of slopes between 200 and 450 metres above sea level.
The grapes ripen slowly, drawing character from the unique soils of the region.
Vinification: Classic red vinification. The wine is then aged in old oak barrels (10-15% per year) and the rest in fine lees for 8-10 months.
Tasting notes: Medium ruby red colour. Complex aromas of plums, raspberries and cherries and fresh red fruit flavours on the palate with earthy and mineral notes reminiscent of flowers & mushrooms. Balanced acidity, soft tannins and a pleasant aftertaste.
Combined with: Medium-flavoured cheeses, grilled white meats, light red sauces.
