Pampero Especial is a pioneer in the history of venezuelan rum. It set a new benchmark in quality when it changed the laws of a country. After Pampero’s founders began ageing their rum in oak casks in 1938, Especial became the first Venezuelan rum to be officially designated ‘aged’ (añejo). The rum undergoes triple distillation and the oak casks used for the aging process, previously used for ageing Bourbon whisky up to five times. Enjoy it neat on in cocktails
Nose: Citrus aromas mainly lemon zest with notes of vanilla, wood and cigar box.
Palate: Creamy texture with spices. Flavors like overipe fruits, vanilla, butterscotch and honey with a descreet smokiness create a unique complexity.
Aftertaste: Long and spicy. A ginger flavor emerge in the finish with a bittersweet taste.

30ml Pampero blanco
30ml Orange Juice
15ml Lemon Juice
90ml Ginger Ale Three Cents
1 twist of Lemon Peel
In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the pampero Especial, the Pampero blanco, the orange juice, and the lemon juice and then shake well. Strain into a highball glass almost filled with ice cubes. Top with the ginger ale. Garnish with the lemon twist.
