Named after the philosopher Aristotle, our Philosopher is a sophisticated wine that brings together the two most important red Greek grape varietals: Agiorgitiko from Peloponnese and Xinomavro from Northern Greece

Vineyard: The Estate vineyards, located close to the philosopher's birthplace, are perfectly exposed to the meridian sea breeze. 

Vinification: Classic red vinification. Ageing for 12 months in French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes: Deep ruby color. Intense and fresh aromas of red and black fruit, reminiscent of sour cherry, black cherry and plum combined with elegant notes of vanilla, spices and chocolate. Concentration and depth of fruit on the palate, ripe structured tannins and long charming finish.

Paired With: Grilled or stewed red meats, game, mature cheeses and cold cuts.
