Vineyard: At Macau Haut-Medoc, close to Margaux. The soil consists of stone and sand, with perfect coditions for the maturation of the grapes.
Vinification: Machine or manual harvest depending on the plots. Two manual sorting operations on a vibrating table when the fruit is brought in. The fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled tanks. Then the wine matures for 12-15 months in oak barrels.
Tasting Notes: Medium ruby colour. On the nose red and black fruit aromas are detacted, as sweet spices and herbs complete the aromatic bouquet. The palatte is rich with fine tanins and medium acidity.
Enjoy at: 16°C–18°C.
Ageing potential: For 7-8 years.
