Vineyard: The grapes come from 7 different vineyards in Cote-Rotie. The vines have an average age of 50 years.
Varietal Composition: Syrah 93%, Viognier 7%.
Vinification: Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. The wine is then macerated for 4 weeks and aged for 38 months in new French oak barrels. The annual production is 30,000 bottles.
Tasting Notes: Deep purple with purple highlights. The aromatic bouquet is dominated by black fruits, sweet spices and delicate oak notes. Plums, berries and vanilla make their presence felt. On the palette it is generous and bold. Its tannic structure gives it high ageing potential.
Paired with: Lamb, duck, game, cheese.
