Region: Puente Alto from Maipo Valley

Vinification: Classic red wine vinification. The winemakers, Michel Friou and MIchel Rolland, followed the same vinification techniques just like Chateau Margaux. By taking advantage of the high altitude of Puente Alto, they produced an affordable wine but also rich and complex, which allows years of cellaring.

Tasting notes: On the palate, the combination of ripe fruit and subtle floral aromas, followed by the flavors of caramel, licorice, raspberries and raisins in the mouth are framed by velvet tanines with a mineral finish. The blend consists of 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Carmenere, 5% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot.

Paired with: Pasta, veal, deer and poultry.

Served at: 16°C.

Aging: 10 years.
