It's one of the oldest private rum blends in the world. It was created in 1862 and for seven generations, the Bacardi family enjoyed it as their personal reserve. In 1995 it was sold only to cigar aficionados in glass decanter but because of the demand it was later released in the market. In 2015 it was rebranded and took then name Bacardi Ocho which means eight in spanish. Today everyone can enjoy this golden sipping rum and create special moments.

It takes eight years for a batch of Bacardi Reserva Ocho to mature but patience is rewarded by its distinctive quality and flavour. Enjoy it neat or create the perfect Old Fahioned!

Nose: Fruity aromas like ripe apricot and banana with caramel, vanilla, chocolate and notes of tobacco.

Palate: Creamy texture with flavors of ripe stone fruits, vanilla, butter, mocha coffee and hints of sweet spices like cloves and nutmeg.

Aftertaste: Sweet with flavors of vanillam, chocolate and mocha dominating and a a descreet orange zest that gives a refreshing acidity.
