A spiced rum created by the famed tattoo artist 'Sailor Jerry' Collins. This best Caribbean rums are blended together to create the ideal base for a secret, unmatched recipe of natural spices. Sailor Jerry changed in the early 2010 it's recipe and is now more balanced and elegand than ever.
Nose: The spicy character is very intense. Light vanilla and fresh orange peel stand out among the many aromas of this rum.
Palate: Bitter and spicy with cinnamon and cloves with a descreet vanilla flavor with a hint of sweetness in the backround.
Aftertaste: Long, dry and very spicy. The flavors linger in the mouth making it a very interesting and enjoyable rum.
"Ginger Spiced Rum Negroni"1 part Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum
1 part Campari
½ part ginger liqueur
½ part sweet vermouth
In an empty mixing glass, measure Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum. Add the Campari, the ginger liqueur and the sweet vermouth. Add a few chunks of ice and stir to blend the flavors and dilute. Add more ice and repeat. Serve into an empty chilled old fashioned glass. Add fresh ice block and garnish with candied ginger.
